Evolution

</></>On the verge of a cliff
I stood
imbibing beauty pristine
of depths of nature
and of death.
Life is beautiful
I pondered
and death shall sure be too.
A gentle thrust
I turned my face
before the free fall.
It was my beloved
all smile.
Sure he would have
wanted me to know
beauty supreme in its vicinity
nothing else.
A dagger
made of feather.
Lethal
yet life giving.
I shall not suffer
for
I am used to his follies.
Death!
I smile unto thy face.
After all
love is
a nuclear reaction
dividing and uniting
on and on
but
something of it remains
for eternity.
Here! I graduate
from hatred
On the verge of a cliff
I stood
imbibing beauty pristine
of depths of nature
and of death.
Life is beautiful
I pondered
and death shall sure be too.
A gentle thrust
I turned my face
before the free fall.
It was my beloved
all smile.
Sure he would have
wanted me to know
beauty supreme in its vicinity
nothing else.
A dagger
made of feather.
Lethal
yet life giving.
I shall not suffer
for
I am used to his follies.
Death!
I smile unto thy face.
After all
love is
a nuclear reaction
dividing and uniting
on and on
but
something of it remains
for eternity.
Here! I graduate
from hatred
to universal love.
