Except Forever Poem by Faith Grayson

Except Forever

Rating: 0.5

Silver rings held in the air

As I release my breath

Floating delicately up

Then not at all

I lay in a bed of clouds

So cold

It seeps into my bones

My mind so numb

I hardly notice

The sun makes it's rotation

I am still

Never wavering as I lay here

Soon the cold takes over

The clouds engulfing me

Taking me to a wonderland

Where I will never be cold again

Except forever.
