Expectations Poem by RIC BASTASA

Expectations

Rating: 5.0

Sane enough
expect nothing,

a river cannot
divide itself, neither
can a waterfall
cease flowing,

expect nothing,
on the other hand,
nothing is
always a beautiful
mystery

the much talked
urchin in philosophy.

no one is sane
enough not to
know it. It is
in fact, us.
