There is nothing left to give
for I have nothing left at all
but there is no emptiness within
and I don't feel there is famine or fall

colorful pictures of my past
and grey clouds that did overcast
cast their shadows, as I walk
forever with me, I know, they would last

there was a time
when I felt ghost pains
pins and needles,
where nothing remained
thankfully even
that part is now gone
vastness of sky
will be mine from now on.
