Explanation Poem by Lost Soul

Forever I will never understand why you quit.
I made a mistake and that was it.
My lies are meant to hide the truth behind who I am
I tell them for the simple reason, that you will never understand.
But you and me are alike; we are from the same clan.
You were my everything; you were my Angel I looked up to.
My only thoughts were of you.
Your thoughts have you confused.
In your mind you are a girl who will never be understood
In my mind you are the girl who would stand tall when ever she could
My love you have given me life and inspiration
With out you I cannot breathe, I have no respiration
I am giving all that I have left, to you
My heart is laying in your hands
Please try to understand what I am saying here
This is my explanation of all my lies and my tears
My words are my only hope to get you back and to define all my fears
I give you my hand and you push it away
I am saying all that is in my heart and I am asking for you to stay
The words that I have left to say have never been told to anyone
But I love you, you are my light, most importantly you are my sun
