Eye Bank Poem by B. Sven Telander

Eye Bank

That damn affinity for automatons,
liberating window open for valid
spectators, innermost identity-
a mystery specter; examinations are
seized amid chances in the province
of explorers, insistent and derisory
negation provokes arbitrary degrees
of temperament and impulse, inter-
changeable injurious inference.

Situational dimensions, precipitating
antidotes to scattered, disused, masked
barriers; shunning analysis and pragmatic
absolutes, formulators of premeditated
relationships, automatic and dogmatic.
Though such mercurial terrain has met
eyes of cartographer before, the course is set:
riverjunglewind of sin, desert of crime, ghosts
of pain, liquid trickles of fear, tears of
crystalline pleasure, laminated with plasma
in stained glass tombs
the pulsating
temptations of solitude
