Eyes are not just a body part,
these the fathomless oceans,
where endless emotions,
gestures,
feelings,
float,
to and fro.

In the eyes of an infant,
I see the innocence of almighty,
cuteness of childhood,
hope for the glorious future.

In the eyes of a damsel,
sometimes I see infatuation,
sometimes lust or
endless love,
to confirm acceptance.

In the eyes of older adult,
I can see the seeking of help,
need for support,
silent reward of work done,
in his young age.

So eyes are not just eyes,
these are,
indeed,
mirror of the life.
