Eyes - Poem by Mohamed Eid

Your eyes, they rove

In every stranger's face

Everyman's face

With a wide eyed admiration

And so it does, everywhere in space

A tender touch is a killing one

When a man's desperate for any love

That touch could fool any stranger's heart

Now tell me

Is it innocence or women's games

That makes your eyes gaze

In every stranger's face,

Everyman's face,

And everywhere in space?
