Eyes On You Poem by Wan Little Makornphan

Eyes On You

There you are right by the corner
And I’m helplessly staring at you
Your charm and gentle look,
So calm like leaves falling in an autumn breeze
And when you gaze this way
Your eyes penetrating mine,
They shine like moonbeams,
And I lost myself in your twinkling eyes

My heart starts beating fast
O, how I couldn’t stop the beat
I want to give you my smile
I want to say hi
But my body is trembling
And I just could not speak
Then, you turn away
Leaving my heart pondering

I wonder if you notice me
Or I’m just another stranger you meet
But deep down in my heart,
I hope I’m the one you missed
Will you ever know this burden inside me,
And how I long to talk to you
I long to see your face
And I long to see your smile
I long for your love
And I long for your embrace
But then, you will never know
This person had her eyes on you.
