Face Of Africa Mothers Poem by Abayomi Okemakinde

Face Of Africa Mothers

Rating: 5.0

In the Voracious of Liberty
Indict of affronting the Heritage
Banish from sod as comeuppance
Stave others off the verity of their Customs.

The Comeuppance terrors
Daunt the Heroism in the Minds
Deny the justice of parity
But not at the service of reproduction

In the cause of children betterment
Sacrifice HER thriving weal
Adhered the every afflictions of Tradition
Only the heart nursing the malady.

Will the Verity of the custom be told?
Will they have the hap to preside over their memoir?
Will the equality grow to Norm?
And their orations reckoned?
