Factories Called Schools Poem by Steve JaeIn Yoo

Factories Called Schools

Before we went to school,
We had so much fun,
We did all we wanted,
Basking in the sun.

When we grew so much,
We had to go to school,
Everyone was there,
No one left behind.

When we went to school,
We were told what to do
Fun was gone in our hearts,
our soul, body, and mind.

We all became robots,
Fulfilling the school's wish,
Five more years of school,
My heart was cold as ice.

Now that we left school,
We wanted our old fun back,
Yet it would not come back,
No matter how hard we tried.
