Fade Away Poem by Mia_ACM 2217

Fade Away

Silence that is in the unending darkness
Call out to the void that slept a century
With the pleas of the fallen still ringing in my ears
The beat of my heart that stood out like a spectre
Watching the world as it crumbled away,
Like a moth that has been set ablaze
The mighty sun that burned with pride,
Snuffed out like a candle in the wind
I still feel the presence of those menacing eyes
That warned us of our sinful ways
The potent patience that has been destroyed
Led our dreams to utter despair.
But she still forgave the innocence of mine
And let the rest fade away
Friends and Foes I do not care
For the flesh and blood we all share
Oh goddess let me fade away
Do forgive our treacherous ways!
Then her eyes calmed down like the ocean after a storm
And her words still lingered in my mind
To let them live another life
Sacrifice my self to the creator herself!
Dear friend I have done you a favor
So hold me in your heart forever to gaze
Even if I am a star that has dwindled away
