Fade Of The Bloodline Poem by CONSTANTINE SONUO DERINYANG-DERI

Fade Of The Bloodline

A true reflection of ourselves, the bones of ages
Heavy, long yet stronger than iron
We live with hatred and greed among ourselves
They grew and groomed harmony and peace
Ready to share and assist one another
Survival based on unity and integrity.
Only depended on food and see life
Yet happier than us in our modern world

Everything they built fades in us daily
The true death of the bloodline
We wait to have our turn of vengeance
And never are we ready to hand in without benefits
We war to be the best but at the expense of others.
Our pleasure for cuffing others surge on

Now is the time to urge our thoughts
We may lose our worth just to surge our pleasure.
We have to reunite and push the barrier broken
We have to fight back to get our stand
