She gazed to the sky
Tears upon her eyes
Sadness upon her heart
Aching deep inside

She reached for something
That she could not reach
For it was too far away
That she could not reach

Goodbye was hard to say
For words she couldn't say
Lay upon her aching heart
For she misses her love so much

It has faded into the distance
Leaving her heart broken
As she closes her eyes
A smile appears, one she bares
For she alone knows
She will be home soon
Its only 3 months away
