The way it was, when I first met her
Felt like nothing I ever felt
The way her eyes could melt my heart
Sending butterflies down my spine

The nerves that came, so quick
On that one faithful day, a day
A day I met my Forever and Always
The girl, I'll never forget

The way it felt, as we locked eyes
An instant jolt that Flared upon my heart
Like needles pircing my skin
Her love, unlike no other

How it was when she was near
A feeling that came into my heart
Feeling her warmth is all I desired
To hold her close, and never let go

Time from time I would say hello
But no words could I speak
For Hello wasn't enough
Not enough for me

The way I felt for her
She alone, was unlike any other
For she caught me unexpected
With her beautiful green eyes
And that smile that shimmers so bright

Days may go by, but she I cannot forget
For since the day I first saw her
My world has changed, for even now
As I lay here in bed with her
Side by side, snuggled together

The only thing I could think of
Was the day when she said 'Yes '
For on that day, I got my one wish
I got the girl, my forever and always.
