I stare into the silver glass,
But time has blurred what used to pass.
A face once lit with youthful flame
Now barely whispers out my name.
Eyes once bold, now distant seas,
Drifting with forgotten pleas.
Lips that spoke of love and fight
Now tremble under softer light.
The mirror holds a quiet ghost—
Not quite gone, but not the most
Of who I thought I used to be,
Now just a fading memory.
Each crack along the looking glass
Marks dreams I thought would surely last.
But life, with all its winds and rains,
Leaves silhouettes and water stains.
Still, somewhere in that pale design,
A spark remains—a thread of mine.
A story yet to write, to mend,
Though faded, not the bitter end.
