Fading Embers - Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet
As daylight embers fade away,
And Night begins to fall,
The setting Sun's last embers glow,
And Dusk becomes Nightfall.
Another Day has come and gone,
From Daybreak till Nightfall,
The Sun has set, the Moon has rose,
As our Life ever onward goes.
The beauty of this World of ours,
Created by G-D for us all,
To Live in Peace and Harmony,
From Daybreak until Nightfall.
Tomorrow is another day,
What will happen then to us?
Is known only to Our Father above,
Who planned our Life for us.
How we live our Life is up to us,
But, it is better if in HIM we trust,
And live it fully, day by day,
Till the embers of our Life fade from us.
