Faint White Lines Poem by Sloan Johnston

Faint White Lines

Rating: 4.0

I can see
See every line
Everything that you can't see

It hides
Sometimes it shows
but no one can tell

Their just scars now
nothing there
but faint white lines

But they hold so much
So much pain
So many memories
I can see every line
and remember
Remember why
and how
When

Nobody else can see that
Nobody else would know
or care

That for every faint white line
There is a story
a memory
and a part of me that died a little
that helped me realize

But I can see
See every line
See every faint white line
Every faint white scar
that covers me
