Fairyland Poem by Aditya Chandrasen Salvi

Fairyland

Rating: 3.5

When I relax in my chair,
With my mind not busy with any care.
I wander away into a fairy land,
Where children play at sea with sand.
The cold wind with its light feathers,
Make pleasant the whole weather.
The flowers dazzle in the bright sunlight,
And the clouds dance in the sky with delight!

Tiny elves fly in the air,
And flutter their wings fair.
Sing they the songs of passion,
In an amusing odd fashion.
Up they soar into the sky,
Where no mortal eye could spy.
Down they swing to the earth,
Whose love their tiny lives are worth!

A land of my dreams,
Where everything is what it seems.
Experiences bitter and sweet,
They just unceasingly repeat.
Sometimes my eyes cry.
And sometimes my lips smile with joy.
A store house of memories,
That are not forgotten with ease!

A world of emotions,
Where everything happens as per my notions.
A kingdom of choice,
Where I can have my voice.
A domain of irrational,
With no space for rational.
Such is my paradise,
I experience with my close eyes.
A place for reunion,
To meet a long parted one!

Nice imagery but i think i prefer your free verse, the rhtyhm is slightly out in some parts but still great effort.
