Fairytale Poem by Bria Floyd

Fairytale

Rating: 4.5

We could dance on the floor to a slow song again.
We could look into each others eyes and still pretend we're just friends.
We could act like there is absolutely nothing more.
But you put your arm around my shoulder, in a crouded room,
it's only you i adore.
You make me smile, like there is no other.
You make my cheeks turn warmer than the ocean in the middle of an indian summer.
As we dance under the shimmering light of the disco ball,
i stand there illuminating over the blessing i behold in my heart.
For dancing with you is like setting off flight with an angel.
We dance slow, rocking side to side.
Just every moment is the past point of perfect.
For it's a fairytale, i could never think that could even become real.
