Never did faith fade
Dreams drove the dream
But never a revealing glimpse
Only enough to bind faith

Years came and gone
Destiny will find
Our hearts will touch
Eternal bind

Woken with a song
Another birthday
One more year
The universe never twisted this way

A wish on a candle
Grasping a promise
Silent thought
Sigh, mere silly fable

Whispered softly anyway
Let it be today
With pride in my stride
Embraced the day

In a moment
Just as hope faded away
Our hearts touched
Forged together for ever

Always driven by faith
Unfolding more than true
If tomorrow took me away
