Faithful And True (Sonnet #276) Poem by Tina Rizk

Faithful And True (Sonnet #276)

Dreams may be illusions, but ours are real,
Together we're meant to be since the start,
Years, lives are all wasted without you, dear,
From your genuine soul, I'll never depart.

To my heart, you've always been faithful and true,
I wandered in deserts till our paths crossed,
The sky blessed my soul the day I met you,
I met my haven—no longer was I lost.

Storms are nothing when your love is the prize,
Our love transcends time and space; it's endless,
In your heart I dwell; it's my paradise,
Nothing ever compares to your tenderness.

Thank you for being the shoulder and the rock,
In your hands I lay my heart, its keys, and locks.
