Fake Poem by Emma Simms

Fake

Look into my eyes and you will see that my heart cries out,
Take my hand and you will feel my heart beating.

When you see me smiling,
I'm dying inside,
When you hear me laughing,
I'm really crying, a cry for help.

I'm slowly dying inside,
My heart is turning to ash,
And in time it will slowly fade away.

I wish that I could smile without faking it,
Or laugh because I'm happy,
But it's all fake!

When you see me crying,
Do you think it's real or just for attention,
Do you think is she happy to be alive?
Or does she wanna die and end her pain?

One thing that is not fake
Is the pain I feel,
Just the ways I fake to hide it!
