Time shall pass click clock
with every second you get older
with every moment you change
you drift away
you start drifting away like a F-14
with no regard to the rules of physics
psychics couldn't see this coming
breaking hearts like the sound barrier
with no effort but furiously

You leave behind you a trail of boys
Men who became boys in your presence
Like the diamond you are you shimmer in any light
You brighten any dark halls
You brought light to my life
and like a switch you took it away
Like the government you left me in the dark
cold and heartless
like the government you cheated on your people
the man that loved you and cared for you
the people that put you in power.
like a diamond found on the street there are fakes
and this diamond has your name on it

But as life moves on I forget like a terrible dream
the cuts that you cut in my heart
Scares will remind me to be weary of fakes
but yet i still frown for you
because the only beauty that ages well is a real diamond
But fakes will lose there shape and decay and die
but a true diamond will be beautiful for life.
