Fake News Poem by Aidan Cost

Fake News

The news comes flashing on,
A nations shame,
we're in downfall they say,
and we know who to blame,
We've got the answers,
So head our call,
Don't listen to fake news,
they don't know at all.
it's them migrants marching on across the sea,
fleeing famine war and disease,
Believe me,
It's got nought to do with that man over there,
with his hands in all pots,
and a thousand yard stare,
listen not to what the experts explain,
we don't destroy their countries
(for monetary gain)
Sadaam had nukes we know it for sure,
Gaddafi was a big meanie,
need we say more,
we had no idea they kept all that oil there,
But since it is it's only fair,
that we take it because it's rightfully ours,
so we gave it shell and they power our cars.

The news came flashing on,
Yet again,
the world is dying,
and we know who blame,
we've got the answers,
so we'll speak clear,
ignore that fake news,
the real scoop is here,
it's them foreigners with high populations,
ignore the scientists,
lets alienate younger generations,
we know better than you,
and your fake news media,
we get all our facts from Facebook
social media, misopedia,
global warming isn't real,
said Greg down the road,
it's too late anyway
the seeds being sewed,
we'll choose not listen,
none of this effects US,
so conversation is superfluous.
