In the heart of green fields wide and vast,
Lies a shrine where time seems to have passed.
Mast Malang Farid, the saint so divine,
In his dargah, love and faith intertwine.
Once a year, when Urs bells ring,
Devotees gather, and Qawwalis sing.
The melodies soar, in the evening's embrace,
Echoing Farid's dance, his celestial grace.
Aarav came, with a heart heavy and sore,
Found in the music, a key to the door.
The door of peace, of love unbound,
In Farid's wisdom, his solace found.
Under the dome, where roses lay,
He heard the old man, softly say,
'The path to the divine, is through love's song,
In surrendering, we are free and strong.'
So every year, to the dargah he goes,
Where the river of mystic melody flows.
In each note, a lesson, a truth unveiled,
In the song of Farid, his spirit sailed.
