Fakir & His Modesty Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir & His Modesty

Rating: 5.0

'I'll end you, ' she teased with grace,
'Go ahead, ' he smiled, his heart in place.

She dreamt of gifts, relics of old,
Sufi treasures, stories untold.

Meeting, parting, life's endless relay,
Prayers left behind, come what may.

He pulled her back, his voice sincere,
'Try this treatment, I hold dear.'

In a café by the sea, with plants so green,
Sunset glow, a serene scene.

Hand in hand, they faced the light,
Faith and love, their guiding might.

Through trials, banter, and laughter shared,
Innocent hearts, always prepared.
