In the soft light of dawn,
At Gur Harminder Sahib,
A Sufi sits in peace,
In the golden temple's calm.
Kirtan fills the air,
Sacred hymns all around,
Breathing in each sabad's prayer,
In the holy sound.
With tea and prasaada offered,
He bows his head with care,
Thousands of salutations,
For the blessings everywhere.
A little boy sits beside him,
Together they find grace,
In the heart of Harminder Sahib,
Peace and joy embrace.
