Fakir In Rumi Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir In Rumi

In Konya's heart, where blossoms scent the day,
And distant prayers through the skies do sway,
A world of noise, of life's unending din,
Yet in a garden, silence finds its kin.

Under an ancient tree, where shadows play,
Sits Rumi, in the light of fading day.
His eyes are closed, a smile so soft and light,
In silence, he finds his most sacred rite.

Disciples gather, a circle in wait,
For words of wisdom to unlock their fate.
Yet Rumi speaks not, in stillness he's bound,
In silence, a deeper truth is found.

The birds, the leaves, a symphony so clear,
Unheard in haste, in silence, draw near.
The day turns to dusk, with colors so bright,
In quiet, the world reveals its true might.

Young Ahmed gazes, a realization deep,
In silence, the soul's secrets we keep.
Rumi's eyes open, meeting the gaze,
In silence, the heart's language ablaze.

'In silence, hear the unspoken, the vast,
The heart's language, the soul's whispers cast.
Not absence, but the presence of all,
In stillness, the universe's call.'

The disciples ponder, in newfound awe,
In silence, the purest wisdom they saw.
For in the quiet, in the space between,
Lies connection, the most profound, unseen.

As night descends, the stars above them gleam,
In the garden, they embrace the silent dream.
With Rumi, they sit, in the universe's embrace,
In silence, they find the most sacred place.

So in a garden, as the world spins on,
Rumi's silent celebration is drawn.
A lesson that echoes through time's vast space,
In silence, we find our truest grace.
