Fakir Reflects Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir Reflects

In her study, morning's golden light,
Sitara breathes, a tranquil sight.
"Everything is a breath, " she sighs,
Inhale, exhale, a gentle rise.

Unbroken rhythm, life's sweet song,
Dhikr's chant where hearts belong.
"Allah Hu, " in whispers soft,
Peace within, her spirit loft.

Plants and books in sunlight drape,
Her mind in cosmic thoughts escape.
A ceramic cup, delicate and fair,
Holds her tea with tender care.

Breath and dhikr, life's embrace,
Constant cycle, sacred space.
Universe hums, a silent prayer,
With each breath, Allah's name is there.

Facts and faith, in endless stream,
Flow like rivers, merge like dreams.
She sees in all, a truth divine,
In every heart, a sacred sign.

Gratitude for life's sweet breath,
Trust in moments, even death.
Abhang, unbroken, life's refrain,
In every loss, in every gain.

Sunrise paints the sky with light,
In her heart, a deep delight.
Sitara smiles, eyes softly close,
Breathing in, the peace she knows.

Faith and trust in life's grand scheme,
An endless dance, a sacred theme.
In every breath, a love untold,
In every heart, a truth unfold.
