Fakir Remembers Someone Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir Remembers Someone

In the garden of dawn, where whispers speak,
A Sufi sits, his spirit mild and meek.
With a cup of tea, in the morning's embrace,
He contemplates life, its intricate lace.

Surrounded by green, in nature's own room,
Where plants and the sunrise together bloom.
A friend's essence, like a silent guide,
In every leaf's turn, by his side, they bide.

This bond, a beacon, through tempest and calm,
A salve to the soul, a deep, healing balm.
For friendship's a light, in the darkest night,
A star that guides us, with its gentle light.

So here in this moment, gratitude flows,
Like rivers of light, it softly glows.
For in the quiet of the morning's grace,
We find the reflections of each familiar face.

Let this image, this scene, so serene,
Remind us of bonds, unseen but keen.
In the garden of life, may we always find,
The strength of friendship, forever entwined.
