Fakir Sits & Prays Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir Sits & Prays

In prayers, she found peace,
A Sufi's heart, her true release.
A friend named Arjun, always near,
With love and hope, he wiped each tear.

In gurdwara, they bowed and prayed,
In Taj cafe, their spirits swayed.
A bond so pure, a love so kind,
In each other's hearts, they did find.
