Fakir Sufi Sheikh Amir Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir Sufi Sheikh Amir

In Dubai's embrace, 'neath the sky's vast dome,
Sheikh Amir sits, in his prosperous home.
With Dhikr's breath, the silence he combs,
In remembrance, his heart roams.

Surrounded by life's lush, green pleas,
Books of wisdom, and the calm of teas,
Each rug a tale, each plant a peace,
In Dhikr's ocean, his soul's lease.

'Alhamdulillah, ' the in-breath's song,
'Subhanallah, ' the out-breath's gong,
A dance of praise, to whom hearts belong,
In Dhikr's grace, he finds himself strong.

His office, a mirror of the heart's frame,
Rich in blessings, in Allah's name.
Through Dhikr's path, he claims his fame,
A radiant figure, aflame with the Divine's flame.

Let this tale be a guiding light,
In Dhikr's joy, find your might.
For in remembrance, your heart takes flight,
And in its peace, your life shines bright.
