Fall asleep with tears burning in my eyes
I love you so much, and sometimes
I mistake truths for lies
I've been hurt before, and your faith I must learn to trust
I should have realised by now
You are not one to give into lust
I sit here on the couch
The photo album in my hands
As I smile and frown at the photos
Listening to our songs from our favourite bands
The summer will be long
My longing is nothing new
And everyday I'm haunted
By the fact that I miss you
