Fall For Me - Poem by Nikhil Chandwani
Fall for me in the morning, across the endless sky,
when droplets lay cold upon the ground with beautiful clouds wandering by;
or in the warming rays of sun when the farmers harvest fruit,
for their newborn children, all so cute.
Fall for me when I smile with a tear in my eye,
when your messages make me skip my breath and sigh
or when we dance beneath the stars that sparkles with delight,
before we share the last message, kissing a virtual goodnight.
Fall for me in a rainstorm that lasts the whole day long,
when out of tune I sing for you a silly five minute song;
or when, the horizon covers itself with the beauty all so blue
and songbirds tell me once again that I'm in love with you.
