Fallen Angel Poem by Tabatha Wallace

Fallen Angel

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever had a friend
that seemed too god to be true?
You never had to tell them what you're thinking.
They always already knew.
People try to tell me
that he will drag me down.
But I don't care what they say.
He will always be around.
He is a fallen angel.
Of that I am sure.
No matter what is wrong,
he always has the cure.
His wings are hidden
where no one can see.
He can fool everyone else,
but he can't fool me.
No one would ever think
that he is worthy of the task.
God sent him here for me.
I didn't have to ask.
To me and everyone else,
he is my best friend.
But he's also the greatest angel
Heaven could ever send.

Dedicated to my Fallen Angel Mason Helms.
