Falling Poem by Justin Chan

Falling

Rating: 5.0

Reaching out, I fall,
Grabbing,
Missing.
An uncontrolled tumble,
Into darkness,
Voids.

Stress, tension,
Gnaws at my sanity,
Accumulating,
Slowly, slowly,
Oozing poison,
Killing me.

Anger,
Burning black,
Taking over,
Killing my humanity,
Turning man into beast.

So much hate,
So much rage,
Kept dormant,
Controlled,
Now released,
Volcanic energy, attacking.

Dying,
I am dying,
Torn by obligations,
Stabbed by insecurity,
Smothered in problems,
Drowned in sorrow.
My life,
Made a living hell.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I like your poem but feel so sad that you feel this way. Keep writing poetry and read other good poets and vent your frustration into writing good poems or other forms of writing. The pen is mightier than the sword.
