Falling Apart Poem by Shirl Holmes

Falling Apart

Rating: 5.0

It's so sad that after a year
what I felt in my heart
and once was so dear
is falling apart at the seams.

You were the picture of the man I wanted to find,
the one I'd painted in my mind...
The dark mysterious gypsy that visited my dreams,
Now we're falling apart at the seams.

you're twisted sarcastic dark through and through
what in gods name did I ever see in you
your plans and your schemes were only for you
I'm coming apart at the seams

you tell me to think for myself and I do
I know now how I feel about you
you're idle your crazy and mean
you're coming apart at the seams
