Falling Away Poem by J.T. Derouen

Falling Away

Taking a step away
From where you brought me
Heading back to wear you found me
I'm falling away from you again

I can't find where I belong
Where you had me isn't
Where I want to be
I want my own way

Nothing's going right anymore
But if I go back to you
I'll be shackled in
Chains of Righteousness

Your place in my heart is fading
But I still don't want to return
Persecution, I can't take it
Is Heaven really worth it?
