Falling Down (Song Lyric) Poem by John Carter Brown

Falling Down (Song Lyric)

FALLING DOWN

It was always the case
I would never lose my face
or my crown, or my crown
I was left on the shelf
I could never stop myself
from falling down, falling down

By the rules of the game
and the spirit of the same
we were bound, we were bound
then when the cap that you wore
didn't fit you any more
you'd pass it round, pass it round

Now I'll say nothing more
as I understood the score
and I found, and I found
I was left on the shelf
I could never stop myself
from falling down, falling down.
