Your poem describes falling snow so well here with a great natural flow. You have painted a lovely picture for us. An enjoyable read. I too have written a poem about the snow called, 'Snowscene' if you care to read it. Spiritsong

You certainly undersell yourself by saying your not a poet. This is an excellent poem written by an accomplished poet. Where I live we don't experience snow yet you describe the experience as well as I can imagine.

Well, for someone who claims they are not a poet, Evelyn, you should take a good look in the mirror, because you indeed are a poet! This poem is as fine or better than most poems I have seen on this poetic site, and though it does not maintain a consistent syllable count, it was clearly written by someone who has a good knowledge of how poetry works. It is a very positive, upbeat, and cheerful write and is exceptionally well expressed in every verse. Carl.
