I'm your sister.
You're my brother.
Not out of blood are we inexplicably intertwined.
I always knew you.
I always knew I loved you.
I always knew that love would change.
I always knew you loved me in some way.
Not out of blood do we love each other.
Throughout my life, I've always wanted a big sibling.
Then you came into the picture.
You took me in.
And you loved me when no one else did.
Not out of blood do we care for each other.
You watch my back.
I watch yours.
We keep each other from making mistakes.
If it came to it, we'd die for the other.
Not out of blood would we do anything to keep the other safe.
We share secrets that otherwise are not uttered.
We know things about each other that are unbeknownst to the rest of the world.
The memories that we have are some of the best.
I know your darkest dreams.
You know my crazy nightmares.
The other sees a side that is solely for them.
Not out of blood are we our true selves around the other.
Not out of blood are we siblings.
Not out of blood are we so close.
Not out of blood are we who we are because of each other.
Not out of blood are we family.
