Dancing is good for the soul they say
And I really believe that it’s true
When you have a pile of worries
Dancing will help to get you through

I’ve done it so I know personally
That your feet can lead you to a place
That makes your heart lighter
And puts a smile upon your face

And that’s how Native Americans
Have felt for many centuries
And their dancing is such an art
That it’s like its own entity

I love to watch their rhythm
And listen to the beat
How talented these people are
They’re so light upon their feet

So if someone makes an offer
And wants to do a dance for you
Take advantage of it quickly
You’ll want to dance fancy too!
