Fantasy And Fiction Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Fantasy And Fiction

Rating: 3.5

We were on the edge of begin again
With spirits like Jack and Jill.
Slightly insane and over-zealous
A weakness of inner will.

Completey ignoring secret conscience
That said our affair was wrong,
We fought against our feelings
But the urge to kiss was strong..

We considered dear ones a-hurting,
And gave them the crown, 'twas a must!
Our meetings at moonlight had to stop
Because to them it was so unjust.

Forgetting the edge of begin again
'Farewell' our cry had to be...
Tears soon fell on the midnight train
As we tried to forget yesterday.

But Jill loves Jack ~ Jack loves Jill,
A situation through history.
The pain of love can never heal
'Goodbye My Love' was our destiny.
