Far Beyond The Horizon Poem by Lavigne Kin

Far Beyond The Horizon

You walked away and I kept staring you in dismay.
I hoped I could reach my hand to you.
With my fingers crossed that I will make this all untrue.
But it tore me apart,
breaking all the spells of my heart.
You failed to notice the tear in my eye.
that my soul was struggling with hue and cry
How could you not see that I am dead,
lying there with all my eyes red?
If it was a love, then what went wrong?
No wonder why is this pain so strong.
I kept hunting in your eyes for that forgotten love,
and I guess you gave it a shove.
It feels like a knife is stabbing me deep
pinching and poking that I cannot even weep.
Oh I will lie here all dead
that you can come one day and see my deathbed
I will keep the beauty of my love alive,
and I promise today that it will survive
