Far Far Away Poem by Ayesha Riaz

Far Far Away

Rating: 5.0

These winds that blow back and forth,
Whispering in my ears,
I don’t know what they say,
But sometimes under this blue blanket,
I wish I could fly,
Like these autumn leaves,
Like millions of birds circling around the sky,
On their flight of freedom,
And happiness,
With the winds,
Far far away somewhere,
Where there is peace,
Silence and our silent files,
I wish I could escape from this world,
Hide myself,
In a box that could hold me,
Absorb me,
And my grievances,
Without any utterance-;
Over my alpha and omega,
That could empty my heavy heart,
Hear my cries,
Far away from this suffocation,
Far far away,
Somebody please take me,
Away from myself,
Far far away,
Somebody please take me,
Away from this cruel world,
From this extreme vexation,
Away from these killing weapons targeting me,
Far far away,
In the struggle to complete,
My incomplete self.

Somebody please take me away,
Away from myself...
