Far Love Poem by Ruth Amaya

Far Love

Dew drops beneath the uncover sky
Times rushes in to define the night
With phrases once said
The words on the monitor quickly filled the screen
With every conversation

The topic has been chosen
And concluded with words previously said
With a ‘do you love me? ' and 'I love you too'
We presumed our relationship
And we fast-forward the facts, that tells us about our destiny

We face a well defined frustration
As reasons misunderstood circumstances
When our paths collided with each other
Without preparing a strategy
To build the bridge that travels
To our physical encounter that is denied by oceans.
