Farewell Fred Poem by Randy Johnson

(DEDICATED TO FRED ROGERS WHO DIED FEBRUARY 27,2003.)

I used to watch your show when I was a kid.
You made many children happy because of what you did.
It was tragic when you died in February of 2003.
You were a great performer and I'm sure that everybody agrees.
You died not long after you retired.
You were special and you were admired.
It was a very sad day when your life came to an end.
Children all over the world considered you to be their friend.
