Life goes on
But for me its on hold
Everything that is new
Is now becoming old

I fell asleep in the past
And woke up in the future
Now everything from my past
Came back to the future

My whole life changed
In a matter of seconds
Everything that was first
Now I put second

Life is time
Whether you're locked up or free
Time always change
But it never changes speed

Life can be measured
Only by time
And time is a treasure
That only some find

The clock never stops
I'm just stuck in my ways
I feel lost in time here
Just counting the days

Things seem slow
And I'm used to moving fast
But last goes to first
And first goes to last

Making moves quickly
Trying to stay ahead of my time
I got caught up trying to catch up
Moving faster than time
