O Anna Niemus

Fat Baby Groundhog - Poem by O Anna Niemus

Fat baby groundhog,
lovable, we see you
ambling toward your
tunnel, anxious to
escape from violent
gardeners

like a woman self conscious
about her weight
ready to sit
in the darkest corner
of the restaurant
to escape prying eyes
